One of the biggest struggles students have when it comes to the Living Environment Regents is answering short answer questions. Well, what I’m about to show you is that answering short answer questions is just as easy as answering multiple choice questions, as long as you know what concept the question is getting at.
Take for example, the following 2 questions below: one is a multiple choice question from the June, 2015 Living Environment Regents and the other is a short answer question from the August, 2015 Living Environment Regents.
As you can see, both questions are testing to see if you understand the concept of what a vaccine is. The answer to the multiple choice question is choice (3) a weakened form of a virus and the answer to the short answer question is:
Better yet, the short answer question came with the following reading passage that you don’t even need to read in order to answer the question correctly!
All you need to know is what a vaccine is so allow me to show you the video for Way # 20 from “50 Ways to Pass the Living Environment Regents!”
After watching this short video (it’s only 47 seconds long!), you will see that, no matter what type of question is being asked of you (multiple choice or short answer), you should now be able to answer any vaccine related question correctly!
Now, I know you might be saying, “Yeah, but those questions are from old exams! What if they change the questions around on an upcoming exam?”
Well, there’s only so many ways they can ask questions about vaccines, but as long as you understand the concept, you should now be able to answer it correctly every single time!
Here’s proof from many recent Living Environment Regents Exams:
Question # 72 from the June, 2018 Living Environment Regents
Question # 69 from the August, 2018 Living Environment Regents
Question # 68
from the January, 2019 Living Environment Regents
Question # 5 from the August, 2019 Living Environment Regents
